Adding A Little "Soul Pancake" To Your Classroom

There are so many great people out there who are making awesome videos, but nerver quite getting the attention I feel they desreve.  There is a great place for these videos in the classrom and I thought it would do us all some good to feature some of these "content creators", these Google-Teachers if you will, and their channels on my site every so often.

The first channel I want to feature is one that I use in my classroom and will continue to do so as long as I'm teaching and as long as they keep making awesomeness.

The Science of Happiness

This is my new favorite series on SoulPancacke.  The host takes actual research conducted on Happiness and scenarios to see if the research holds up to the testing! Awesome I know.  What you see are profound, thought-provoking moments that I believe are great for classroom discussion and replication.  The video below is one I plan on doing with my students this year.

I get all verklempt every time I watch this video.  It makes me wonder just how often we miss a chance to epress our gratitude and gratefulness to the people around us every day.  I can't wait to see what this will look like in my classroom.  I dare you to watch this and not cry.  I double-dog dare you!

Here are a couple more videos that are perfect for your classroom.
